वृन्दावन एक दृष्टि

वृन्दावन, मथुरा से 15 किलोमीटर दूर एक महत्वपूर्ण तीर्थ स्थल है। वृन्दावन का नाम आते ही भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की लीलाओं का ध्यान आता है। यहीं वनों में उन्होंने गोपियों के संग रास रचाया व राधा को मोहित किया। भगवान के अवतार चैतन्य महाप्रभु ने समय की गर्त में विलुप्त हो चुके वृन्दावन के पवित्र स्थलों की खोज की। चैतन्य महाप्रभु 1515 ई0 में वृन्दावन आये थे। चैतन्य महाप्रभु ने 16वीं शताब्दी के प्रारम्भ में अपने दो प्रिय शिष्यों रूप और सनातन को वृन्दावन में निवास का निर्देश दिया जहाँ बाद में जीवगोस्वामी, रधुनाथ भट्ट व गोपाल भट्ट उनसे आ मिले। वृन्दावन में वैष्णव भक्त दक्षिण से आये। वह यहाँ इतना फले-फूले कि भारत के सभी महान धातु-कर्मी यहाँ आये और कुछ समय निवास किया। यहीं 1968 में भारतीय विशेषतः बृज सभ्यता को समर्पित वृन्दावन शोध संस्थान की स्थापना हुई।

Major temple in Vrindavan

Sri Sri Radha Damodar Mandir:

Sri Sri Radha Damodar Mandir is an ancient temple established by Srila Jiva Goswami in the year 1542 C.E. The deities here were served by Srila Jiva Goswami. Sri Radha Damodar deities were manifested by Srila Rupa Goswami, who gave them to his dear disciple and nephew-Jiva Goswami for service and worship. Samadhi of Shri Roop Goswami, Sri Jeev Goswami. Bhajan Kutira and Samadhi of Shri Roop Goswami: The topmost maidservant of Sri Sri Radha-Krsna is Sri Rupa Manjari. His bhajana-kutira and Samadhi-mandira are situated in the courtyard of Sri Sri Radha Damodar Temple.
Sri Radha Raman Mandir:

Sri Radha Raman Mandir or Sri Radha Raman Temple, is an early modern period Hindu temple in Vrindavan, India dedicated to Lord Krishna as Radha Ramana. It was constructed at the request of Gopala Bhatta Goswami at around 1542 AD. This temple is among the 7 temples of Thakur of Vrindavan including Sri Radhavallabh ji, Shri Govind Dev ji and four others.
Radha Gokulananda Temple:

Radha Gokulananda Temple is an ancient shrine, located at Vrindavan, in Uttar Pradesh. It is in between the Kesi Ghat and the Radha-Raman Temple.In this temple there is the small Radha-Vinoda Deities of Lokanatha Gosvami, the larger Deities of Vijaya Govinda of Baladeva Vidyabhusana, and the Radha Gokulananda Deities of Viswanath Cakravarti. The small Deity of Krishna in front of Gokulananda and the Deity of Caitanya Mahaprabhu were worshiped by Narottama Dasa Thakur. Viswanath Cakravarti arranged to have this temple built. Formerly, all the Deities in this temple were worshiped alone, in their own temples.
Gopinath Ji Temple:

Gopinath Temple is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva in Gopeshwar, Chamoli District, Uttarakhand, India.[1] It is situated in Gopeshwar village now part of Gopeshwar town. The temple stands out in its architectural proficiency; it is topped by a magnificent dome and the 30 sq ft (2.8 m2) sanctum sanctorum, which is aessible by 24 doors.
Sri Rangji Mandir:

Sri Rangji Mandir is dedicated to Lord Sri Goda-Rangamannar. Goda or Andal as she is popularly known in South India was a famous 8th century Vaishnava saint who had composed “Tiruppuvai” which centers around her love for her beloved Lord Krishna and his leela bhoomi Vrindavan. She pines for him, fasts for him, sings songs in his praise and wants to attain him by marrying him.
Radha Shyamsunder Temple:

Sri Vrindavan Dham is the holiest of all the holy places and is purified by the touch of Lord Shri Krishna’s lotus feet. Even the denizens of heaven desire to take birth in this holy land.
Govind Dev Ji:

In 1525 A.D. Roop Goswami find the Govind dev ji idol at Goma teela place in Vrindavan and placed the idol in Vrindavan. In that time Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was living in Nilachal at Orissa. He get the news of finding of the idol of Lord Krishna and cause of his illness he cannot go to Virandavan. So he made a small idol of himself from Asht-Dhatu and imported his diving power and sends this vrindavan with Shri Kashiiwar Pandit. That idol named as Thakur Shri Gaur Govind.
Madan Mohan Ji:

The temple is dedicated to the tutelary deity, Lord Krishna. It is believed that Shri Gopal Singhji got victory in the battle of Daultabad. After this the king in his dream saw that Lord Krishna instructed him to fetch his idol from Amer and installed at Karauli. The king of Karauli therefore, brought this idol and got this temple constructed to enshrine it.
