On the one hand, it has paved the way for research scholars, while on the other hand, for the tourists coming to Brij, many parties who have been interviewed with Braj culture have made it easy for the convenience of the scholars.
For the preservation of Braj culture and the literary wealth existing here, Sri Radhakrishna's establishment of Vrindavan Research Institute in Vrindavan, Rasasthali was on 24th November 1968 on the occasion of Vihar Panchami on Sunday, on the fifth day of Shukla Paksha in the month of Margashirsha, 2025. The institute was inaugurated by the founder, Dr. Ramdas Gupta, at the Srinarayan Dharamshala in Loi Bazar, by the then Union Minister and scholar of Indian knowledge tradition, Dr. Karan Singh. Dr. Ramdas was a professor of Hindi at the Gupta School of Indian and African Studies University, London and was also a good poet. Initially, Dr. Ramdas Gupta gave impetus to this institution through his determination and limited resources.
Due to the sacred purpose and dedication, the institution gained fame and over the years it started receiving grants from the Culture Departments of the Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh. During this period in 1985, the Institute was located at the present site in Ramanerthi. Moved where today it is on the path of continuous progress. The institute, which is exempted under Section 80-G of the Income Tax Act, is also receiving the support of the benevolent noblemen of service.
